1. Who is responsible

The controller for personal data processed in connection with this website is Maria Buscsei, The Rewards Practice, Austria (see theImpressum). You can reach me atmaria@rewardspractice.com.

2. What data I process, and why

a) When you email me

I process your name, email address, and the content of your message in order to reply and to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: taking steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Email is hosted with Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd.), acting as my processor.

b) The newsletter

My newsletter, Rewards that Drive Behaviour, is published on LinkedIn. If you subscribe there, LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company processes your data as its own controller underLinkedIn's privacy policy. This website itself does not collect newsletter data.

c) Visiting this website

This is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and uses no tracking or advertising technology. The website runs on a server rented from the hosting provider HostingBázis, which may process technical server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page) for security and operation. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. How long I keep data

Correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your matter. Records connected to business transactions are kept for the statutory retention periods under Austrian law (generally seven years). Data with no retention obligation is deleted when the purpose ends.

4. Who receives data

I do not sell or share personal data for marketing. Data is disclosed only to the processors named above (Google Workspace, HostingBázis), or where a legal obligation requires it.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with future effect. To exercise any right, emailmaria@rewardspractice.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde,dsb.gv.at).

6. No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making or profiling takes place on this website.
